So, I've been extra lazy..

And extra busy so they kind of cancel each other out.

I knew about all that new Lupe stuff..I just didn't post it. And you can't fault me for it.

I say that to say this. I know what the new name will be here, I have one review to post, and I still love Lupe with a passion even though I recently cheated on him with Ye. I mean technically I cheated on Kanye with Lu since I was in love with Ye first..but anyway here's a review of the GITD Tour from what I think was Madison Square Garden.

It's mostly about how good Kanye was but I'm mad at the dud for basically being surprised Lu had a following and disrespecting N.E.R.D. like that.

"I missed at least half of Lupe Fiasco's opening set, but I got to my seat in time to see a whole lot of running, jumping, and flashing of the gold record that Lupe had apparently earned that day. It was good, even if he let boring-as-hell crooner Matthew Santos hog the mic a bit too much. I was absolutely unprepared for how nuts the kids in the audience went for Lupe, though; an arena-wide Lupe chant is not something I ever expected to hear. Kids really like this guy, and at this point I wouldn't rule out the possibility that he might end up headlining the venue some day.

Can you tell I'm a fan?

"Wale is the next Lupe..."

Entertainment Weekly thinks so. And so do I. Read it here.

He was one of their "Eight New Faces To Watch in '08"

This reminds me of when Lu got GQ Man of The Year. Cool shit.

AND he's a Lupe fan. AND I have proof..I just have to find it again..

Oh and I normally don't do this so you can't complain..

There are 2 new post over at She's Cool Like Dat.

Yes, it's my personal blog. I found one of the messages already from Wale.

Here I'll make it easy.

Oh yeah! Zune Shuffle was updated too.

Okay.

You don't have to hear me complain anymore. I finally saw the Paris, Tokyo video.

It was through YouTube on my phone but I saw it. Yes, I agree its one of his best videos. Right now top 5 favorite videos of his are in this order: Daydreamin, Paris, Tokyo, Superstar, I Gotcha, & Dumb It Down.

But that's me. I always have and always will love Daydreamin' lyrically and visually. It would have been nice though to see the video Lu wanted for it though.

Anyway, time to change my text ringer from Paris, Tokyo to Gold Watch. I dont want to get tired of the song now that its out.

2 Quick Things...

Wale is the shit. So is Kanye.

Wale is because he got that deal finally and because hes featured on HipHopGame.com. Sleep if you want to.

Kanye is because he got Nike to make him his OWN shoe. Air Yeezy. I mean seriously..

Just for the record...

I'm a female. I write in detail when I feel like it. I don't recall ever actually posting GITD tour dates because you can find those anywhere and everywhere. Thanks.

Moving on. I'm going to be extremely busy for the next couple of weeks so more than likely I won't be able to update as much..well I barely do that now.

Anyway, Sean is the hardest working man in the Lupe business. I say that to say this I'm in the process of helping to open 5 stores by the 29th. Its really not as great as it sounds [thats me not going into detail again] but while Im doing this you can all get your Lupe fix from him.

Most of you drift from there to here anyway. I will be consistant when I get a consistant schedule. But yeah, appreciate Sean. He's great and I'm tired.

This is some conspiracy theory type shit.

Okay so uhh. I was just randomly looking at post and questions about Lupe on Yahoo at 3 in the morning like I do every Friday night in the house. ::rolls eyes::

Anyway, I come across a question on Yahoo! Canada that mentioned the whole "Lupe used to sell dope" thing. Then they go on to bring up how the album cover says "Lupe Fiasco" but also says "Life of Fiasco" is you look at it different and "the F looks like the grim reapers scythe to go with the theme of death and life"

Dig much?

Two people over on Hood Fever looked a little too into it too.

Maybe.

Maybe not.

Lu rides camels now?

LOL, well...

"Rapper Lupe Fiasco recently wrapped up his second official video, "Paris Tokyo," from his sophomore album, "The Cool." The video will sport a 1940's theme and features the rapper on a camel trudging through the desert. "Paris Tokyo" is slated to drop in early April, just before Fiasco begins his performance run on Kanye West's "Glow in the Dark" tour the same month."

And just because of the 1940's thing I had to post this Paris, Tokyo video again.

I love it.

Also found out that Lu will be in Dublin April 5th for a show at Tripod. Tickets went on sale this Friday morning at 9AM. They are between €36.50 - 42.50.

Just for the record...I read somewhere that somebody thinks 32.50 is 'pricey'. Try that damn $218 I spent on those GITD tickets. That's pricey. Thanks.
